Driver Education benefits EVERYONE.

At Gulf Coast Driving Academy, we’ve been making the roads safer since 1993.

What have you spent on lessons for music or sports? Tutoring? Technology? Summer camps? Gaming? Clothing or hair appointments? Daycare? We believe our driver’s education course is an investment in your child’s safety that, if taught and practiced correctly, will last them a lifetime.

FULL TEEN COURSE is available for students 15-17 (18 if still in school): 24 classroom hours and 14 hours in-vehicle practice (7 hours behind the wheel/7 hours observation). Students have 90 days from the first day of class to complete the driving.

No absences allowed the first six hours of class as we are studying Texas Law for their permit test. Students will take their written permit test after the first six hours. They are given their certificate, forms, and instructions for parents to take them to get their permit at any point after they pass the written test! No more than six hours of classroom absence allowed total and written make-up work for any absences per law. We do not accept make-up work the last four hours of class.
